KIPSTA - Decathlon- Equipment
I started working on this set of cones and ranging pole in 2012. At that time it was only me, a product manager and an engineer.
The whole idea was to satisfy the largest population of users during the warm up session. We had to maintain the modular aspect of the products but simplify them. We realized that only 3 elements were necessary to practice a very large amount of exercises and even more than the existing products. All we had to do was to make them a little smarter and have them interact with each other.
In 2014, the accessories project was born with a very affordable range of price for all sports clubs and families. They were first sold in Europe but in front of the successfull response from the customers Decathlon decided to order this set of accessories for all their stores in the world, so 750 stores spread between Europe and Asia.
We have been proud to say that it was not only a commercial success but we made our customer life easier and as a Designer, I feel like I was doing my job !

In this video, I designed both the outfit and the accessories.

KIPSTA - Decathlon- Soccer shinguard
These projects were develloped at Kipsta brand of Decathlon group where I am curently working since March 2012.
I have been asked to devellop a range of products from low to higher prices according to a level of practice of rugby, soccer and underwear (men/women/kids included).
I worked on fashion design as well as hard products and advanced research for innovation. My job was to design these product but also prototype some of them and to ensure their feasability with the pattern designer. I was also in charge of the validation of the samples received by the production leader and had to go to the factory once in a while to make sure the design was respected.
Decathlon is a sports equipment company that spread 723 stores in the world for a turnover of 7.4 billion euros in 2014.These products were launched in every stores in 2014 and will be replaced by the one I am currently working on in september 2015. Some of them have been produced in 25 000 to 30 000 pieces.
So far, the customer response has been really satisfying and their popularity are visible through the clients marks on the Decathlon website.
